Full Tilt Creates Rush Poker

By | Apr 5, 2010

full tilt logo Full Tilt Creates Rush PokerDo you like to play Texas Holdem, but the tournaments you play with your buddies ends up taking too long? That’s why a lot of the online poker players got online in the first place. The games are dealt almost twice as fast as a regular game. But that isn’t nearly fast enough for a lot of players.

For years, people have had up to four tables going at once on their computer, although some expert online poker players could manage many more than that. People that could make the correct decisions just by looking for a split second started to earn a lot more money for their bankroll.

But only a select few people could manage more than a couple screens at a time. And through my own experiences, it always seemed like things were very easy for a while followed by intense periods where you have to make several crucial decisions at the same time.

Inexperienced players will call for more time so that they can make decisions on each table that they are playing at. This can considerably slow down the time per hand on the average online poker game.

Rush Poker

With this in mind, Full Tilt Poker has come up with a new innovation which will take online poker speed to the next level. This innovation is being called Rush Poker. Here’s how it works:

full tilt rush poker Full Tilt Creates Rush Poker

When you are dealt a hand, a lot of people will click the quick fold button when they receive bad cards. In previous card games, this means that you will have to wait until the other players finish betting on the hand before the next hand is dealt. This can mean you will sit out for up to 2 to 3 minutes without having to make a decision.

With Rush Poker, once you press the quick fold button, you are immediately sent to another table with a whole new set of players. The only time that you stay at a table is when you are participating in the action of the hand.

This will greatly increase the amount of hands of your favorite poker game that you can play in a set period of time, say an hour. People have claimed to have been able to play up to 300 hands of poker with only the Rush Poker table open.

For the average player, this will almost eliminate the need to have multiple tables open on a computer screen and you won’t be as stressed to make multiple decisions at the same time. At the same time, you won’t have to wait for other people to play, sometimes very slowly.

I would guess that most online poker pros won’t be that into the randomness of the players that they would be facing and the speed wouldn’t be that significant to these players either. They usually prefer knowing their opponents tendencies by playing them for a little while and usually make their bankrolls this way.

The most action seen at Rush Poker included the Six hand and Nine hand ring game tables at the $0.25/$0.50, $0.10/$0.25 and $0.05/$0.10 betting levels. The one drawback to this style of play that I have seen is that the betting on any particular hand tended to be a lot more tight then you may be used to. Bluffing seems to take a back seat when the players get shuffled up after each hand.
